The Centre of Compassion Study Group was the former satellite group of Jamyang Buddhist Centre Leeds known as Jamyang Liverpool.
The group meet regularly in Liverpool to support the study of Dharma and build a community of study and practice.
All are very welcome to join the group at the Centre of Compassion on a Monday evening at 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Premier Inn Hotel, Hanover Street, Liverpool City Centre.
As well as enjoying different types of meditation, they also read and discuss books from the Lama Yeshe Wisdom archive (www.lamayeshe.com) including Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s “The Bodhisattva Attitude: how to dedicate your life to others”
As the home of authentic Buddhist teachings within the Tibetan Gelugpa tradition in the UK, we are part of the international Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT) family and support His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.
We are a network of Buddhist Centres, Projects, Study Groups and a Retreat Centre who work together to fulfil the wishes of our Founder Lama Thubten Yeshe and Spiritual Director Lama Thubten Zopa Rinpoche.
