At FPMT UK, we are dedicated to creating a safe, respectful environment for everyone. This section addresses our commitment to safeguarding and outlines the steps to take if you encounter any form of bullying, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour within our centres.
Safeguarding, bullying, harassment and inappropriate behavior
We want all of the people who visit us and who are members of the various communities who use our facilities to feel valued and safe.
If you feel that you have been subject to inappropriate behaviour or harassment or bullying behaviour by any member of any FPMT UK centres, Study groups or volunteers or any member of the public while on our premises and wish to take the matter further please report the incident to a member of the onsite team. Please check directly on their website or contact the FPMT UK Coordinator, Ven. Barbara Shannon. She will contact you directly to establish details and will ensure that the matter is sympathetically and fully investigated and appropriately dealt with.

As the home of authentic Buddhist teachings within the Tibetan Gelugpa tradition in the UK, we are part of the international Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT) family and support His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.
We are a network of Buddhist Centres, Projects, Study Groups and a Retreat Centre who work together to fulfil the wishes of our Founder Lama Thubten Yeshe and Spiritual Director Lama Thubten Zopa Rinpoche.
